7.1 Collaboration and Implementation Plans

To achieve the objectives of the regional plan, municipalities, organizations, companies, associations, and institutions in East Iceland must engage in close cooperation.

7.2 Consultation and Implementation

Extensive consultation and good access to information are required to achieve the objectives of the regional plan.

7.3 Review

After local government elections, every four years, the regional planning committee shall convene to assess whether there is a need to review or update the regional plan.

7.4 Performance Indicators

Following the confirmation of the regional plan, performance indicators that align with its objectives will be defined and developed, and responsible parties will be designated.
